TechCrunch reported that Digg founder Kevin Rose has stepped down and resigned from Digg but will continue to advise and tape Diggnation.
Roses interest over Digg has declined since the big re-design of the news site and started to work on a new startup that is now on its closing round.
Diggs traffic has been declining for the past 6 months and its competitors took advantage (Reddit and Stumble Upon) as shown on the graph from compete:
