My 2 year contract with Globe Telecoms Philippines. I called thier customer hotline to let them know that I am willing to renew that contract and I am also willing to upgrade my Plan in order to get the phone that I wanted. I did not expect that it was so complicated for them to do that because there are NO phone rewards on the lists availabel for me. I just told them that I am bot interested for any type of reward I just wanted to upgrade my plan and get that phon ebut it really turned out to be difficult for them becaus eit was a different system. Renewal and Getting a new line is 2 difrferent systems. This gave me the message that Globe Telecoms is trying so hard to get new clients and they are not prioritizing thier existing portfolio of clients. Didnt they know that it is more expensive to get new clients thant to retain old ones?
Because of that incident I am now looking to move to smart telecoms which they are going to give me the phone that I wanted for FREE! Can you imagine that? at Globe Telecoms I have to shell out cash and updagrade my plan where in at Smart I dont even have to upgrade my plan and I’m still getting the phone I wanted.
Damn you Globe Telecoms! YOu make things complicated you dont even know you are losing mroe clients on the process….
I have nothing nice to say for Globe Telecoms. And Sun for that matter. Hope Smart has much better systems.
I still have 8 months to finish my contract with Globe, I’m planning to renew pa naman, if that’s the case I will move to other network.:D
@Noel I also hope na yung smart is better kase I am really considereing them dahil wala ng ibang choice.
@shina you can renew naman pero pwede ring walang lock-in period parang yung ginawa ko almost 8 months na for renewal yung contract ko sa kanila hehehe.
kung malakas lang ang influence ko I will request na e boycot ang Globe dahil sobrang komplikado ng systema nila. parang kung gusto mo ng Iphone and for renewal yung contract mo.. hinde pwede kase wala daw sa list ng rewards nila. Eh kelan pa naging reward ang mag upgrade ng account and mag cashout ka just to get the phone na gusto mo.
Theyre so stupid.
