Introducing – My SEO Services

Sunday, September 7th, 2008

Announcing my new blog site titled: SEO Pinoy Style! sub titled: Discovering ways to do internet marketing in the philippines.

From now on I will focus on discovering ways to promote/ market the products and services of my fellow Pinoys! Most local businesses are still hesitant on trying online marketing because they simply do not believe how the internet or their website can help them generate more sales. Some are just so cheap minded that a lousy 1/4 the price of doing SEO in the US is still very expensive for them (for those businessses that spend millions on TV and Radio ads). Others still believe that the usual Juan de la Cruz business banner is the only way to promote a very lucrative business.

Adwords: New “Automatic Matching”

Saturday, February 23rd, 2008

Google Adwords Campaign Management Google will once again exploit its search engine dominance over Yahoo (still looking for the buying company) and MSN (Been rejected an offer to take over Yahoo).

The newest feature of their Adwords: “Automatic Matching” for your campaigns. We already know that the Automatic feature is bad enough for the “Broad Match”, Now they will Add this feature to the whole matching type.

I saw this from the author of SEO Fast Start eBook:

I’m excited to tell you that you have been selected to participate in a beta for our new Automatic Matching feature which will be starting on February 28th.

Automatic Matching automatically extends your campaign’s reach by using surplus budget to serve your ads on relevant search queries that are not already triggered by your keyword lists. By analyzing the structure and content of your website and AdWords campaigns, we deliver more impressions and clicks while maintaining your current CTRs and CPCs.

For example, If you sold Adidas shoes on your website, Automatic Matching would automatically crawl your landing page and target your campaigns to queries such as: “shoes” “adidas” “athletic”, etc., and less obvious ones such as “slippers” that our system has determined will benefit you and likely lead to a conversion on your site.

Be assured that automatic matching will try to never exceed your budget. If you’re already meeting your daily budgets, automatic matching will have a minimal effect on your account.

This feature will exaust your precious pay per click advertising campaign budget every single day of the month. The worst part of this is that it could be turned On Automatically, SO I suggest that we watch out closely for it this coming Monday when they start sending the notice to our Adwords Accounts.
