My 2 year contract with Globe Telecoms Philippines. I called thier customer hotline to let them know that I am willing to renew that contract and I am also willing to upgrade my Plan in order to get the phone that I wanted. I did not expect that it was so complicated for them to do that because there are NO phone rewards on the lists availabel for me. I just told them that I am bot interested for any type of reward I just wanted to upgrade my plan and get that phon ebut it really turned out to be difficult for them becaus eit was a different system. Renewal and Getting a new line is 2 difrferent systems. This gave me the message that Globe Telecoms is trying so hard to get new clients and they are not prioritizing thier existing portfolio of clients. Didnt they know that it is more expensive to get new clients thant to retain old ones?
Because of that incident I am now looking to move to smart telecoms which they are going to give me the phone that I wanted for FREE! Can you imagine that? at Globe Telecoms I have to shell out cash and updagrade my plan where in at Smart I dont even have to upgrade my plan and I’m still getting the phone I wanted.
Damn you Globe Telecoms! YOu make things complicated you dont even know you are losing mroe clients on the process….
