Mga Praning by The Master Rapper Francis M.

Saturday, December 27th, 2008

Salamat, pareng Boy.

I’ve got the story and I gotta tell
Kwentong pang-tropa but I only mean well
For the good of the kabataan, I mean you
Who are wasting away dahil sa shabu

Poor man’s cocaine, some call it chase
Puff the magic dragon all the way
To your lungs, ito, anay sa laman
May foil, may butter, tooter na lang

Nagkulang, pwes, gumawa o manghiram
At ‘pag ayos na rin, ating sindihan
Ang sarap, feel the rush to the head
It makes you crave for more of it instead

Oh fool, pagbilan ng piso o katorse
Buwan after buwan tumataas ang dosage
Lalo lang nalunod at saka ka nabaon
Sa utang, kawawa naman at malaon

At patay ang utak ng tropang ubas
Makinig sa akin at ako ang lulutas
Ng problema nila, ng tropang gising
Ang kasaysayan ng mga praning

Praning #1 ay artista pa naman
Multi-awarded, idolo ng karamihan
‘Di niya nakayanan ang fame at kayamanan
Marahil insecure at balang araw masapawan

Ng bago o mas gwapo at mas mabango
Sa producer at sa press, lalong na-depress
Nainggit, he tried it, gumamit, he took it
Bumatak ng pahamak sa parak at sumali

Gang bust, pero nasa kalaboso
Naging paranoid at naging suspityoso
Ngayo’y nakakulong at kami’y nanghihinayang
Sayang, si Praning #1

Praning #2, graduate ng beauty school
Maraming bagets at boys, I mean new kids on the block
At siya’y part-time pusher
Dugo ng babae, number one hairdresser

He’s duce, seduce and even introduce
‘Cause of the boys while making the use
Drug, you can call it crystal methane
You can call it want you want but it’s all the same

One day, he was robbed and stabbed seven times
His boyfriend left in the scene of the crime

CHORUS
Tropang gising, tropang gising, tropang gising-sing
Mga praning, mga praning, mga praning-ning
Laging gising, laging gising, laging gising-sing

CHORUS
Laging gising, laging gising, laging gising-sing
Mga praning, mga praning, mga praning-ning
Tropang gising, tropang gising, tropang gising-sing
Mga praning, mga praning, mga praning-ning

BRIDGE

Anay sa laman, poor man’s cocaine

Sa unang tira, ‘di mo mapapansin
Ang tama ng mediaphetalamine
Hydrochloride, suicide assorted
‘Yan ang mangyayari ‘pag gumamit ka ng yes

(Yes, the rhythm, the dribble)
You gotta stop and then you’re gonna stumble
Down, walang maitutulong ang bato

CHORUS
Tropang gising, tropang gising, tropang gising-sing
Mga praning, mga praning, mga praning-ning
Laging gising, laging gising, laging gising-sing
Mga praning, mga praning, mga praning-ning

Tropang gising, tropang gising, tropang gising-sing
Mga praning, mga praning, mga praning-ning
Laging gising, laging gising, laging gising-sing
Mga praning, mga praning, mga praning

Did Bank of the Philippine Islands – Corinthians Forgot About Our Year End Pay?

Wednesday, December 24th, 2008

The Malacañan Palace recently declared a series of 8 day long holiday in the Philippines. As a result the last banking day will be on Dec 24, 2004 which has already been announced a few months back. With this reason there should be NO excuse under any circumstances that your office should not be able to prepare and upload the payroll for the said coming 8 day long holiday.

Who should be blamed?

All I know is that they already submitted the payroll yesterday to BPI for this cycle and BPI somehow failed to do their job. I don’t know how much time they need to ensure that a less than 200 people company get their salary.

My conclusion is that they are both to blame at this point. I will update this post when I recieve my year end pay.

BPI-Corinthians is our Bank of the Philippines Islands thast takes care of our semi-monthly payroll. It is their JOB to ensure that we recieve whatever our Finance and HR department forwards to them and they FAILED to do that task. Recent update suggest that we will recieve our salary on the coming 26th or 27th next week which both falls under the 8 day long holiday announced by Malacañan.

Who to blame? who to blame? It’s up to you.

Early Boracay Getaway Plans for 2009

Friday, December 19th, 2008

After the Holiday season, the next big occasion that needs preparation is Valentines day and the coming summer vacation for 2009. In this post I’ll focus on my summer getaway plans.

This coming May we’re planning to travel to Boracay Island, Philippines. We’ve agreed that our expenses should not exceed PHP 30,000 for this trip thus planning early on will be beneficial if we want to stick to our planned budget.

Boracay Island Curiosity

I’ve never experienced Boracay  so I still don’t know what to expect but I’m keeping my hopes up that what’s left of it is still as good as the story people tell. They say Boracay is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Philippines or maybe the world. It has pure white sandy beach that stretches for kilometers.  Night life is also great so I hope that by the time I travel to Boracay I’ll be allowed by my doctor to moderately drink alcoholic beverages.

Search for a Low Priced Flight

I’ve had experience on not planning for my trip thus resulting to an expensive round trip flights. This airline company offers as low as PHP 1.00 + taxes if you book early and if seats are available as the numbers will be limited.

Today I found a flight that will only cost me PHP 8k round trip from Manila to Caticlan which I think is a good buy. If you check out the regular price on other airlines that would cost you a little over PHP 20,000

Search for Low Rate Resort Accommodations

Instead of looking for a travel agent to plan for my vacation, I opted to search the internet to look for some good quality beach front resorts in Boracay using this online hotel directory and I found a good list of candidate hotels to stay for the weekend.

I found these resorts to fit my taste, need and budget:

  1. Boracay Gold Crowne Resort
  2. Microtel Inn & Suites Boracay
  3. Hey! Jude Boracay

Synchronizing my Flights and Days of Stay

All that’s left now is to synchronize both of my flights and days of stay at the beach front resort I found. Knowing what time the ferry leaves at the Caticlan port would also help me in this task but I guess a ferry boat leaves every hour and all the resort have an airport transfer service.

We are planning to leave for Boracay on the 3rd week of May 2009 and I’m really excited as this will be my first time to step in the white sandy beaches of the popular Boracay Island.

I’ll post pictures of it in the coming months.

Globelines Broadband: Selective Browsing

Sunday, December 7th, 2008

For the past 3 weeks I have been heavily experiencing intermittent connection and selective browsing from my supposed to be faster than any other broadband provider out in the market. I’ve already spoken to more than 5 CSR of Globelines Broadband and they all gave me their personal guarantee to coordinate the problem with their incompetent admin support and field support. They all tell stupid LIES and all CSR’s script is the same. I don’t know what they see on their screen but its supposed to be my account information including what modem type is installed. Isn’t this the purpose of having a computerized system?
